Zovirax Cold Sore Cream delivers the active ingredient, aciclovir, efficiently and deeply into your skin to fight the virus that causes cold sores. Designed to be simple to use and effective, apply Zovirax Cold Sore Cream at the first tingle to get to the cause of your cold sore. Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is uniquely formulated to maximise penetration. Zovirax Cold Sore Cream contains the anti-viral agent, aciclovir 5%, that stops the multiplication of the cold sore virus. Zovirax MAC-P penetrating formula gets to the site of infection. Use Zovirax Cold Sore Cream five times daily at approximately four hourly intervals for four days.

Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is indicated for the treatment of Herpes simplex virus infections of the skin, lips and face (recurrent herpes labialis).
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist about your medical conditions before you start using Zovirax Cold Sore Cream. Also, let your doctor know, if you have any complications from using this medicine. Medical history and examination performed in patients with her past of herpes labialis, including labialis, revealed that there are few controlled clinical experience with topical administration of aciclovir cream for the treatment of Herpes simplex virus infections of the skin, lips and face. Aciclovir 5% cream is applied to the infected area at the first sign of a tingle, bump or itch. It is intended for application at the first sign of a tingle, bump or blister, or for first signs of a cold. The recommended time to start treatment with aciclovir 5% cream is as reported by the patient, usually within 2-4 days. If treatment is stopped, the rash will gradually resolve. Zovirax Cold Sore Cream contains the anti-viral agent aciclovir 5%, that stops the multiplication of the cold sore virus, and is formulated to act at the early stages of the healing phase of the herpes simplex virus infection. Zovirax Cold Sore Cream contains the active ingredient aciclovir 5%, that inhibits the replication of the herpes simplex virus in the body, thereby reducing the severity of the infection. The active ingredient is also the same active ingredient found in Proguanil. Aciclovir 5% cream is applied to the infected area at the first sign of a tingle, bump or blister, or to the area where the virus is present, at the site of infection, and inhibits the replication of the virus. The recommended treatment time for treatment with aciclovir 5% cream is as reported by the patient, usually 2-4 days. Prevention of herpes simplex virus infections of the skin, lips and face is the goal of therapy by decreasing the number of infections and the severity of symptoms. Aciclovir 5% cream is indicated for the treatment of Herpes simplex virus infections of the skin, lips and face (recurrent herpes labialis).
Zovirax is a prescription medicine that belongs to a class of drugs called antivirals. Zovirax contains aciclovir as its active ingredient and has potent antiviral activity. This medication is mainly used for the treatment of viral infections like genital herpes, cold sores, and chickenpox.
If you are diagnosed with the herpes virus, start the therapy as soon as possible or at the first sign of an outbreak. Your doctor may prescribe you Zovirax tablets depending on your age and medical condition. The tablets are taken orally with or without food.
Take the medication at the same times every day for maximum benefit. Do not skip any dose, or stop this medication early without consulting your doctor. Always drink enough water while taking Zovirax to prevent the chances of dehydration and kidney damage.

Zovirax Cream is a cream containing acyclovir, an antiviral drug. It is used to treat infections such as herpes, cold sores, and shingles. Zovirax Cream is applied topically to the skin and the affected area for 10 minutes or for 4 hours. If the infection does not respond to treatment, the infection should be treated again by an antiviral specialist.
Zovirax Cream is also used to treat genital herpes infections. Zovirax Cream can be used to treat chickenpox and shingles. It is also used to treat cold sores.
This medicine is available in the dosage form of 5g or 10g cream.
The recommended dosage of Zovirax Cream is 2 grams in a single dose, taken orally once daily. The recommended dosage of Zovirax Cream is 5 grams, taken by mouth five times a day. The recommended dosage of Zovirax Cream is 1 gram, taken orally five times daily. The dosage of Zovirax Cream is 2 grams in a single dose, taken orally five times daily. The recommended dosage of Zovirax Cream is 2 grams in a single dose, taken orally five times daily.
You should take Zovirax Cream as a whole, without chewing, as it may cause stomach upset and may not work as well. Do not take Zovirax Cream more than once a day. Zovirax Cream should be used with a full glass of water.
